What if all the seats are full?
If all seats are taken, please line up outside along the front of the shop — we'll let you know when it's time to buy your ticket. Even after other guests finish and leave, we may need a moment to clear dishes, so please continue waiting outside until we call you.
How long is the wait for my order?
We prepare up to three bowls at a time. Depending on how busy we are, we may not always serve exactly three at once and might serve one bowl in between. We try to serve everyone in your group together, so parties of four or more may be served in two rounds. Aedama orders are prioritized in the kitchen, so we can't give an exact wait time.
How do you decide where to seat guests?
Staff may assign specific seats based on the guidelines below — thank you for your understanding. Most of our guests come alone or in pairs, so we manage seating to keep at least one pair of adjacent seats available. For example, with 7 counter seats: if 3 guests are already seated and a 4th arrives, we could theoretically create an alternating pattern of empty seats, but instead we seat the new guest next to an existing one to preserve a pair of open seats — specifically, next to whoever arrived most recently. That way, when the earlier guest finishes and their seat opens up, we can immediately seat the next pair of two. Even during busy periods, we always honor the order guests arrived — for example, if one seat opens up but a pair is next in line, we won't seat a solo guest ahead of them just because one seat is free. This ensures everyone is served fairly and promptly. We appreciate your understanding of our system.
What is aedama?
It's a seasoned serving of bonus noodles. You can mix it into your soup or enjoy it on its own. Aedama comes in soy sauce or salt flavor, and either pairs beautifully with both ramen styles — pick whichever you like. We select a slightly different noodle just for aedama, so enjoy the different texture too. We collect your ticket in advance, so please flag down a staff member shortly before you finish your ramen.
